Avaliação da contribuiçãoI should never have waited so long to try babanis, but I'm so glad I finally made it. absolutely incredible aromen in everything. the Kurdish brot is from this world, the dowjic can heal all wounds, and the tabouli is better than any other place I had in the twin cities. the prices make it easy to go to lunch several times a week without breaking the bank.
Babani's was great. Went to this place for my birthday and the food and service were excellent. The beef and chicken kabobs are my favorite. The ambiance is great.
Babani's is one of St Paul's best kept secrets! It is America's first Kurdish restaurant, is family owned, and the food is Spectacular. If that isn't enough, the owners are very warm and open, and love to answer your friendly questions about their country of birth. They even mention Garrison Keillor on the back of their menu! A memorable meal, for sit in or take out.
Wow! An affordable place that is actually really tasty and offers worthwhile options for meat eaters and non meat eaters? What? Yes, this place is affordable and it's family run which is pretty cool too. The vegetarian options are actually really enticing and the bread is fantastic even if you don't live off of bread hahahaha. It's a great place to go try some really tasty food that is affordable and unique, especially if you want a change in flavors. Go try their food out, it's about time.
We were staying nearby in the area and ordered take out right before closing time 7:30. They were able to take our 3 orders and had them all ready within 10 minutes! The food was delicious, service fast and friendly! I liked how each dish came with a side.
