A restaurant that we discovered about 10 years ago and it was a real pleasure to return. Real homemade with very good Danish recipes. The salmon is excellent, the trout smoked while you eat the starter is a delight and the Danish cake is a real discovery. Also try the fricadelles, the marinated herring... in short the whole menu. All with a breathtaking view of Saint Paul de Vence...
Danish specialty restaurant hidden on the side of the road. Despite good intentions, the setting is rustic, even too rustic, the service very simple and the food offers nothing extraordinary. In summary, we were generally quite disappointed. As for access, it is very limited or even dangerous to try to go down and even more so to go up. It is best to stay on the side of the road. Small detail, the mosquito repellent present on each table suggests “accompanied” dinners.
Situé dur la route qui descend vers la mer, difficile à atteindre car chemin très pentu (vous pouvez laisser votre véhicule au bord de la route), ce lieu insolite ce mérite, mais vous ne le regretterez pas... Une vielle maison, un jardin luxuriant, le glou glou d'une fontaine, les classements... Seule la vue sur Saint Paul de Vence vous rappelle que vous êtes en zone urbanisée... Cuisine danoise avec la spécialité du chef, la truite fumée au bois de hêtre : un régal. Au service, un viking attentionné, convivial... Excellent rapport qualité prix... Que du bonheur...
