Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis French restaurant reminds me of home. In this huge city I could not image such a sophisticated French restaurant. This chef was spot on. My night was magical. If you dine at night, it is so romantic. So, make sure to dress up! I can not wait to return to the city but this time I hope to meet the chef.Food: 5/5
Delicious French cuisine in lovely atmosphere. Love the patio. Great service. Recommend the duck confit, mushroom risotto, and whatever the specials they have are.
This is a great bistro. The service side of things was fantastic. Everyone worked together as a team to provide a really smooth dining experience.Food was beautiful to look at, to smell, and to eat. All the ingredients were really fresh. My main was a special; duroc pork chop on red cabbage and mashed potatoes, and a grainy mustard sauce with cumin seeds and it was delicious. A special special to be sure.I ended the meal with an apple tarte tatin a la mode and a nice caramel sauce drizzle. Along with a piping hot espresso, a fine way to end the meal. I will definitely return here when I come back to the city.
Mathilda is a charming restaurant with excellent service. I have mixed reviews on the food. The scallop special with mashed potatoes and cream sauce was very delicious. However, the ribeye special (for $55 was the thinnest steak I have ever seen in my life. It looked more like a pancake, then a steak. The bone marrow special was way over salted, and the escargot had almost no garlic flavor at all.
Had a terrific pre-theater meal here on Bastille Day. As soon as we let the Maitre D know that we were going to the theater, our order was taken quickly, and our food arrived promptly too. Our server, Eva, was fantastic, and the food was super delicious.
