The bartender was so rude and totally uncomfortable of us. will never be here again.
I love the support of local and as concierge I am proud to recommend local restaurants and dinge in savannah. I want our visitors to leave the city as much as I love. I write negative reviews for everyone, but especially when it is local. but I was treated so badly by the manager, patrick, in the 17Hundred90 restaurant, that I must speak. I have absolutely had negative reviews to leave it! but patrick, the manager of 17Hundred90, has ruined this restaurant not only for me, but all future guests who stay in the hotel in which I work as concierge. I recommend to the guests every singtag restaurants; but after this experience I will never recommend 17Hundred90 as a question of the fact, I will encourage my guests to cancel their reservations if they already have one. and as concierge coordinator for a dozen hotels in savannah I will share my experience with every concierge. I had a reward voucher over open table for 17Hundred90. when I booked the reservation via the link of open table, a message appeared that my voucher was bound to my reservation and that the restaurant could apply this to my ticket. the voucher has actually been bound to the reservation; but patrick said that not how it works would not even see my reservation to see if the certificate was there. I was trying to get a chat with crick. he was arrogant and merciful, even hinted, he thought I was lying. we didn't try to approve our food. our ticket was almost $300.
Wednesday night was a hit! we went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. she loved it! we sang songs with one or more customers who played the piano. Eating was excellent. our waiter patrick (parker) was the whole way 5 . best we think again for more fun with them. many thanks for the best experience we had in a long time.
We stayed here this past Sunday and Monday nights and had dinner here Monday evening as well. Our trip was for myself and my wife as well as a friend of ours. The staff was unbelievably kind and accommodating during our stay, especially when our friend’s room had an air conditioning issue. He did have to change rooms, but that was no big deal (he was sensing that there may have been a little something there that would rather have it’s privacy in that room anyway). We chose the 17Hundred90 Inn because of its history of being haunted (that’s kind of our thing) and we were not disappointed! Nothing too scary or threatening, but definitely some pretty cool happenings while we were there! Our rooms were clean spacious, and very comfortable. As for dinner….all I can say is WOW!!! Our other thing when we travel is eating well. Of all our brunches, lunches, and dinners, this was the best, most well prepared food of the entire trip. Best Oysters Rockefeller I’ve ever had…and the special appetizer of the day was Beef Wellington, which our Australian friend who lived in England for years said was the best of his life. I also tried their house pineapple upside down martini. I had to get a second one to make sure I was right about how good it was!In short, so yourself a favor and book your stay here and make reservations at least once in the restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!!
