See Views Restaurant and Cafe

Decided to have dinner at my Motel Restaurant. Motel is ok but was absolutely blown away at this little gem. Service was fantastic and the food was devine. I eat at alot of places and this little gem will get me back for sure. Live music on a Wednesday. A solo act that will be a big name one day and couldn't fault a thing. Was a random stay in the region but will definatley be back on social and business. Great place, great views and fantastic restaurant..

This restaurant is relatively new and finding it's feet amongst the many options on the Peninsula - it was once known as Billy's - but has since been re decorated and the decor is much improved - the views are magnificent overlooking wonderful Moreton Bay - they serve breakfast, morning tea, lunch & dinner (I think they close Mondays) - the owner/chef is very pleasant and they are happy to cater to your likings.

Having booked a table we had to wait for one to be cleared and wiped down as they seemed to have trouble finding the booking. Although this is a fairly new restaurant we felt the basics were not yet in place so made allowances. The meal was average and found that the wine prices were a little on the high side. The atmosphere was very pleasant with views overlooking the sea. Will visit again next time we are in the area to see if improvements have been made.

This new restaurant cafe has been opened for a couple of months, so I was told. My wife & I had visited this establishment previously many times when it was called Billy's On the Bay. Now with new owners Glenn & Fay they have turned this place upside down & improved the decor, furniture & seating with entertainment also on Friday nights; with the magical views out to Moreton Bay - this is the place to be! We visited this restaurant tonight & were very impressed. The service was first class, the food just perfect with my partner having a steak which she very much enjoyed with every mouthful. Perfectly cooked & lucky as she is a very fussy steak eater! I chose the chicken with mango salad & enjoyed this dish. Prices for mains were reasonable at mid $20's to low $30's. See Views Cafe are open 6 days a week, The breakfast menu looks very tempting as does lunch selection which ranges in price from $12.50 to $18.00; or just drop in for a coffee with a home made sweet treat & watch the world go by! SeeViews are open Tuesday to Saturday 7.30 am to 9.00pm & Sunday 7.30 to 3.30pm. At this stage they are closed Monday's. Breakfast prices start at $4.50 & go up to $22.50 for a big Breakfast - would feed a giant! Do yourself a favour and check this new restaurant out and savour some very nice offerings. The wine list is huge and the scotch is first class.
