Avaliação da contribuiçãoExcellent food and atmosphere. We have been going there routinely since they came to downtown Scranton Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Honey Whipped Ricotta, Salads, Usda Prime Pork Rib Chop, Fried Green Tomatoes, Cacio E Pepe, Wood Fired Pizza, Roasted Spanish Octopus, Ricotta Appetizer
I had another fantastic meal at Bar Pazzo. Even though I knew the chef was on vacation this time, I decided to stop by for a quick bite in between shifts. The octopus was absolutely perfect—huge chunks of fresh octopus paired with just the right amount of potatoes and seasoning. I also tried the Faroe Island salmon, which was served with a delicious “flannel hash,” a blend of roasted beets and sweet potatoes, all drizzled with apple cider gastrique. When combined, it created an incredible salmon dish. The restaurant was busy, but my food came out quickly. Bar Pazzo truly is the best! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The ambiance at the restaurant was really lovely; we decided to sit at the bar. The whipped ricotta was incredible, and the salad was tasty, but my boyfriend found his pizza sauce to be somewhat bland. As vegetarians, we were pleased with the menu options available. However, the highlight of our experience was the mixologist behind the bar. She was truly talented and took our preferences into account. Without a doubt, it was the best cocktail I've ever had in Scranton, and it could very well be one of the best I've ever experienced. I wish I could remember her name, but I do recall that she used eucalyptus bitters in the drink. I was genuinely impressed by her skill—it was both delicious and refreshing without being overly sweet.
This is hands down the best food I’ve ever had in my life! I tried the pesto for the first time and was absolutely blown away! The margherita pizza is exquisite and has reignited my passion for pizza. Service-wise, it was excellent. Atmosphere: wonderful. I highly recommend the polpette and wood-fired pizza. For dinner, it costs about $20–30 per person. Overall, I give the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5!
I was pleasantly surprised by the new, more affordable menu. There were plenty of delicious options at reasonable prices. Our waitress was attentive, and the drinks were delightful. We had a fantastic evening! I can't wait to come back!
