This place is incredible! The best coffee everywhere and I mean it! The liquor cakes are from the hook. This place has a German inspired menu unlike any place I've ever had. I'm going to the Siesta Key for the beach. Now I have to get a German taste!
As a final trick to find a great place for breakfast, my husband and I decided to try the scenic look A Taste of Germany. I must say we were pleasantly surprised! Sometimes these smaller places can be a bit out of plaster if you are not a local, but that was definitely not the case here. The atmosphere is light and airy with beautiful aromas on every sniff! The family owners were beautiful; attentive, but not blunt. How was the food? Amazing! Perfectly prepared to exactly as we asked (even if I asked about medium-sized eggs on a croissant sandwich that was not the way it is usually served) with fresh tomatoes and a French croissant that melted into the mouth. Oh, and the coffee... the one that can make or break the whole breakfast experience... They are known for their fleet cakes that are told me are phenomenal, but for us the breakfast was good enough to come back for the next day. Visit Seista Key!
Had a fantastic breakfast this morning. This is a must for anyone visiting Siesta Key. Family property and staff, they are amazingly friendly and the service was excellent. My wife had an omelette and I had a croissant sandwich with egg and black forest ham. Portions were great for the price. They have a giant case filled with any kind of cake and sweet imaginable. My wife and I will return to lunch sometime this week before we go home.
Great selection of ready to eat tasty breakfast items. We didn't discover it until our last day. I would have liked too try their cakes. A defiant stop next time.
