Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were welcomed by a friendly chef/waiter who was very accommodating with our requests, especially in catering to the dietary needs of our young children (including one who is dairy free). The soup and sandwiches we ordered were delicious. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely be coming back!
The review of this restaurant criticizes the breakfast plate served, which included undercooked bacon, tiny sausages, a single mushroom sliced into four pieces, and a raw egg with runny yolk and gelatinous whites. The portion sizes were also criticized, with the customer mentioning that even if the mushroom was sliced into more pieces, it is still considered one mushroom. The customer was disappointed with the quality of the food for the price charged and had to return the dish for being unsatisfactory. Additionally, the owner's rude behavior towards the customer led to a negative review being left, as others should be aware of the poor experience.
I had a pleasant breakfast experience, however, I was disappointed by the extremely rude behavior of the woman working behind the counter. It is a shame because the young waitress and older gentleman were both lovely. I have decided not to return to this restaurant solely due to the unpleasantness of that woman's attitude.
£6.20 for a take out bacon and egg sandwich is extortionate. Normal white bread, nothing special other what you would expect from a greasy spoon, except you’d only pay around £3.50. Don’t mind a fair price but I don’t like being ripped off.
My husband and I enjoying walking up the road to have brunch here regularly but we’ve noticed today the quality of the meat and portion size has changed. My sausage and egg sandwich was pitiful (sausage covered half of the bread it was on with a small egg). My husband had the Grosti which was presented well but wasn’t like it used to be. I don’t think we will return sadly.
