Avaliação da contribuiçãoFriendly, good food, loved the masala dosa, only thing I was expecting really tempered mix, such as mustard seeds, curry leaves ,tumeric, drumsticks. Cherry chilis, in mix for the potato. and dosa..as in desi-style s Indian, very friendly owner explained, English don't like drumstick plant / myringa..or black spots / mustard seeds..don not recgnise it.. that is so sad.don not order... Pickle pot, unless you are a party that will eat it all. Daughter sent back. no left-handed place for me, and would revisit if in the area.
I just had the pleasure to visit this absolutely fantastic restaurant and boy, what a knock was it!!! Driven and it often went by, but because it is on a road with yellow lines and not with a grandiose view, I have... surpassed them.... But not from now on because some of the best dishes of all time and I even gave my Peshwari Nan for a Valleypum and that was also a great move!! The Chutneys for the puppies were sensational and so different!!!!! Enough said, but come and try.... You will LOVE it to me!!!! Oh, the drinks prices are better than all pubs!!!!
I went to Keralam last night with a friend, wanted to go somewhere different from other Indian restaurants. We were not disappointed, the food was amazing, we ate both food we had not before, the owner patiently answered our questions. We're going to scream beyond this wonderful restaurant.
Have always leaned towards ambiance over culinary delights so I was trepidatious as the reveiws I had read said the decor was very traditional, and it was, but the food for me was outstanding so all other details were irrelevant (a first for me). The...most refreshing thing was the lack of food colourings, something that has bothered me at other restaurants. Food was fantasic, service great, and so reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
We popped in for a quick meal just before we left Southend. the staff were friendly and helpful as there are some different items on the menu.
