I visited the Bertuccis here in Springfield, Va the other day. I was initially hesitant because of a pretty bad experience years ago in another place from the state. I thought I would give him another try and what a difference! The restaurant was not only very clean, the staff was so polite and welcoming. It was night and day of my last experience years ago. The food was excellent. After leaving, I asked to talk to the manager to him or her, what a wonderful experience my wife and I had in this place. I met Bill Ross the GM. What a wonderful guy! I rarely publish reviews unless I have absolute phenomenal service or absolute terrible service and that was one of the best experiences I had in a chain restaurant in years. Big job Bill! Management is what makes a good restaurant an excellent one. I wish I could steal Bill from Bertucci and take him to my West Coast restaurants! Keep the big work Bill Ross and I will definitely be back to see you every time I'm in town.
The complementary bread taste delicious, our waiter was really nice and she also mentioned the Tuesday pizza specials, all the food we ordered good taste and it really came fast.
I had a pretty decent experience here. No wait, the food was pretty big for the price. The service was fine, but overall I would be ready to get rid of this place.
Bertucci's restaurant is one of the most terrible experience that I had in a restaurant. Please, avoid a bad time and waste your money over there. I arrived 8:15pm, and the place is closing at 9:30pm. My wife and I ordered simple food: Bertucci's platter as starter 4 chicken wings, 2 garlic bread, 2 meatball, 2 grilled cheese), 1 lasagna, and 1 chicken Parmigiano. The garlic bread was not fresh made today, the consistency indicated it was made a day ago as sooner. The lasagna supposed made in a brick oven came totally cold in the center. This issue happened when you change the brick oven by microwave. The waitress was so nice, and that disaster was not her fault. She tried to fix the issue, and offered me a new lasagna whole the clock shows 9:00 pm. I said please don't, but she insisted. Well, there is the picture of the same plate that she brought. I guess the chef put more cheese on top, and place into the brick oven until burn it. I never will back to that place where the only 2 good thing was de waitress service and the salad for US$88.00 inc. Tip). Sadly, here is not option less than 1 star because they broke a record for bad quality food.
