Avaliação da contribuiçãoVery over priced for what you get. $13 for 7 stalks of next to raw asparagus, overpriced. We wanted to love this place, but it seems pretty hit or miss. The Caesar salad is prepared table side, which is great and had good flavor, but the lettuce was turning red from being prepared hours ago. We both ordered medium steaks, and his came out correct while mine was rare. The half that I ate was tasty, my husband liked his Zinfandel wine selection, though. Service was adequate and the views are beautiful. We both ended up leaving with mixed feelings, but for $300+ I was thinking it would be amazing. If it wasn't so outrageously overpriced, it would have been an awesome experience.
I write this as a warning to patrons. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday since Hell's Kitchen was booked out. I've been here before and always had a pleasant experience. In fact our server had served us in the past. We wanted a special night so we ordered a little more than normal and the food was pretty good. However, when the bill came the gratuity was already added at 20% for two people. I thought it was a little odd and was going to let it go. After I handed over my card, the costumer receipt came with a tip line. Wait, so you automatically added gratuity for a party of two and still added a line for gratuity for me to add more? I was confused so I asked another server if this was normal, she immediately said not for a party under 6. My gf and I are both in the hospitality trade, so we know the importance of tipping and that it's rarely automatic for a party of two. The fact the server still left a tip line for me to add more was very strange and questionable. He did chime in and say it was a mistake, however, he's been there for many many years. All I'm saying is watch out. If I didn't check the receipt and added another 20% on top of his automatic 20% that would've been an extra expensive dinner. The knee slapper is I work for the owners of the casino and the restaurant. Watch out.
This place was amazing. We were visiting lake tahoe and stayed at Harveys and came here for my birthday dinner. It was so yummy. Everything was fresh and tasted super fresh. We will def come back when we visit again. They have nice window seating with a view too. Banana dessert was def amazing along with our steaks.
Gorgeous view! Wonderful service and the food was great! Celebrated a birthday and they were excellent.
The Sage Room at Harvey's Lake Tahoe is a culinary gem that truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, reminiscent of a classic, upscale steakhouse. The rustic decor, dim lighting, and a hint of nostalgia in the air set the perfect tone for a special dining experience. The service was impeccable, and our server was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about the menu. We started our evening with their signature cocktails, which wereexpertly crafted and a delightful way to kick off the night. The menu offers a diverse range of options, but we couldn't resist trying their prime rib. The quality of the meat was outstanding, and it was cooked to perfection. What truly stood out for me, though, was their commitment to sourcing local and seasonal ingredients. It's evident in the freshness of the dishes and the creative flavors that they infuse into every plate. The Sage Room is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that's meant to be savored. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an exceptional dining experience in Lake Tahoe, this place should be at the top of your list. It's a culinary journey that combines tradition with innovation, and it left us with memories we'll cherish for a long time.
