Kafeine - Sydney

Cosy place to go for a Friday lunch when both my colleague and I decided to skip gym. We were craving for some meaty and not-so-healthy food but with smaller portion. So we found this place just on York street. I had chicken katsu burger, satisfied. Also in love with the design on the takeaway cups.

Cute little place close to the station. Went for a coffee and a drink. Humming place during lunch time. Very quick turnaround and great ambience.

The place was busy during lunch but the line moved quite quickly. My pulled pork burger was on the petite side but I guess that leaves room for dessert. The shredded meat was cooked in a sweet bbq sauce and sandwiched between a brioche bun. The slaw was a simple cabbage and carrot mix with some mayonnaise. It was nice enough but not particularly memorable. Good option for a quick lunch.

Good food, good coffee, good staff and good prices- came here every morning for breakfast when I was staying nearby and if I lived in the area I'm sure I'd be a regular. Whether you're on the run or have time to sit down to a longer meal, Kafeine hits the spot.

Dropped in today for lunch and had the Chicken Parmy with salad and my friend had pulled pork. Delicious and well-portioned food at a great price. Staff were friendly and the service was fast. Perfect
