Bread, espresso & - Thirroul

On Easter Monday, I was denied service at the restaurant. After placing my order and being told the total cost, I attempted to pay with legal tender (cash), but the staff refused to accept it. This was a clear case of discrimination. I plan to file a complaint with Fair Trading next week.

I had a delightful coffee and the gelato was amazing. The gelato was only $5.00 for a large scoop and was of high quality. The staff were very friendly and I will definitely be returning.

I just dropped in on the weekend for a coffee and spotted a wholemeal hot cross bun they must have known I was coming. The coffee was spot on, the gentleman who served me, very friendly, welcoming and patient. The hot cross bun was yummy. Can't wait to go there for lunch.

Hands down the best and most consistent coffee around the Illawarra. Relaxed atmosphere matched with friendly awesome staff who’s service is always on point. I’ve been a regular for a few years now and have never been let down. If you’re in the Thirroul area you have to stop in and experience something to eat and a coffee you won’t regret it.

For a tiny somewhat restricted space this cafe is huge in that it always delivers exceptional coffee, the best, seriously outstanding coffee served by cheerful, friendly staff. It's small, the decor is pleasant enough with a sunny outdoor area but you come for the wonderful coffee, not the decor! The cafe also offers excellent sour dough bread, lovely cakes and snacks, very tasty toasted sandwiches as well as a good range of breakfast and lunch choices. A little gem!
