Amazing friendly staff, delicious food and friendly!

Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. On every visit the staff have been welcoming and friendly. Look forward to returning on our next visit to Torbay.

I think that society is often too quick to judge or would prefer to leave a negative review than a positive, which quite frankly annoys me. “Credit due where credit is due” is definitely the case here. This evening my wife and I went to Cappellos Restaurante for our wedding anniversary. We hadn’t heard anything about Cappellos, we had only ever seen it from the outside. Both being definitely foodies. We were keen to eat in, what seemed to have been a very established Italian restaurant, located in Torquay for many years. On arrival It had felt like it had very strong links to Italy, and definitely felt like it was ran by an Italian family or most certainly descendants from Italy. The food was amazing! Service was excellent and the experience was fantastic. Even being critical, I’m not sure what more we could have wished for. Even though we never mentioned to the staff or anyone about our anniversary, our evening was made very special! Thank you to all the staff both front of house, back of house and anyone else involved.Ps the picture of the chicken was take a split second before my wife poured on her side of chips, hence the single chip with the chicken ‍
