Shorter's Barbeque - Tracy

We love this place ,we aren't from tracy but been here several times. My husband works down the street at amazon and one day he forgot his lunch we drove trying to find him something ti eat he saw that place got me a tri tip sandwich and Mac a d chesse and him garlic fries and a brisket sandwich. I havw to say this is by far the best bbq place we have ever tasted . We will proudly keep coming to this place ,it's always clean and super fast at getting the food we spent around $34 for everything but trust me it is way worth the money my tri tip sandwich alone had so much meat and they smoke everything !! This is a must try and come back type of place next time we go we will definitely take pics !

I wanted a last min spot to grab lunch, and this place did not disappoint ? I got the pulled pork sandwich lunch special with a small side of greens. My mistake!! I'll get the large side of greens next time. I feel so lucky that this is only 11 min away from my job. You want some tasty, savory, portioned well food? This is the spot! The building looks a Lil old, but the people in it totally make up for it. The cashier was very polite and attentive. The cooks in the back sounded like they were enjoying their time there. The inside did not have a lot of seating. Parking lot is spacious. All and all I'm coming back! For lunch and hell maybe dinner after work ??

Brisket was not the best wasn't smoked and was pulled, collard greens were good. Potato salad ?? too much relish and too thin. BBQ ribs was the best, smoked. Old school type of vibe atmosphere workers were nice

Down in Tracy for some BBQ ribs from Shorter's ..and I had to help out my pals Cap Rickorn and Sagh Atearious out at the Star Gazer Ranch, helping them lay out the rebar for a pad for the Hyperloop Thingamajig and the 4 big Cummins diesel engines that power the phase converters. Cap tells me it's for vaporizing varmints, and coyotes, but I think it's much more than that because they'll be kicking out about 100 megawatts of electricity. All I could do is make sure I didn't leave finger prints, and say... pass the Ribs!Man-O-Man the food from Shorter's BBQ was Amazing!
