Merge Cafe - Union City

Just ate with friends a couple of days ago. Had the crab cake appetizer. Was very good, with a great sauce. Had the Shrimp Scampi as my entree, and it was amazing. Just the right balance of lemon, butter and FRESH garlic. Simply delicious. Service was friendly and fine. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Best brunch in town. The French toast was insane. Also the Crabcake Benedict is definitely worth a try.

Amazing menu and staff. The food was great start to finish: pork belly starter, scallop entree, and chocolate soufflé dessert. They all melt in your mouth with perfectly paired sides. Definitely returning soon. Stayed from 8:30-11pm without realizing it

Nice hidden spot between Union City and Weehawken, between the Park and Broadway merger. Cute and chic inside. Had a bit of a rustic vibe. Great freshly squeezed orange juice and Lavazza café. The avocado toast is really good, it comes with an egg and fries. Wish they had asked to get salad instead. The salmon eggs benedict were good. The salmon was a tad cold for my taste and the egg was poached but not runny enough. The chicken sandwich came with fries and was really good and tasty. The service is excellent. It just was a tad too hot inside. The A/C may not be efficient enough for the size. Overall, this place is very good, great location, and will be back to try dinner or lunch in the future.
