Herzogstand Restaurant - Walchensee

We were there with friends, and they all ordered something. had to wait long. we had ordered standard items. everything was reasonable. the prizes were okay.

The herducal house looks back on a moving history. after a devastating brand in november 1990, the old one burned down to the walls. the building was completely rebuilt and reopened in august 1992. the view of the walchensee and the surrounding mountains is naturally breathtaking and spectacular. After a successful summit ascent, we have deleted our brand in this cozy mountain guest house with a good tegernseer. the spears are simple, ruber datschi, carving, wizard, sausage salad and with great urge you have to wait a bit. tastefully not revealing, clear: gourmet temple is not here, but for hungry hikers still okay. the beautiful ambiente and the great view terrace let you look over the small kitchen mängel. also in the frame, so for a cozy one-way after the summit tour quite suitable.

To all bad reviews, I must say that we were very satisfied with the performance. Despite full terrace we could order very quickly about 10min. Eating and drinks were fast there and also of neat quality. I had smoker trout with ruber dachi and salat. my wife tried the soup. both tasted well and the portions were large enough. was certainly not self-made except for the salat, but I do not think I can expect in a touri place. the toilets were clean. the look is excellent. the way to the top is also for less trained to create. in any case worth a trip. we'll be back.

Really good beer and wise-beer in this place! Food served quickly even restaurant was very busy. Kids friendly and not pricey at all!

We were here for a short time and had an imperial and two white beers and paid €18 for what was not worth. the staff was friendly but had hardly any time for one and in def hütte were all reserved places. on the terrace there was no place in the shade and no sunshade. the look was very good.
