We ordered via their website, which they also closed down not long after. Everyone was thinking Mint for dinner on this most strange NYE evening (goodbye 2020). We waited FOUR (4) hours for our dinner and as always it was AMAZING and well worth the wait. The tikka masala was vibrant and the perfect balance of savoury and sweetness from the coconut. The breads fluffy and fresh. Food piping hot. Hubby did say his Rogan was slightly watery, probably due to time constraints. However, it was still flavourful. Mint has been our firm favourite since a friend recommended it back in 2018. We order from Mint once every month. Each dish is delicious and tastes distinctly different. I think after 2-3 years, we are finally figuring out our favourites. Happy 2021 all, may it be amazing!
Having switched off from POB over the last few weeks due to their smaller takeaway containers, inconsistent quality, not valuing long time customers and fake TA reviews, I was recommended Mint by a few locals. My new favourite. The minuses: grotty little takeaway foyer. The pluses: Great fresh food, good pricing and the ability to pay online and prebook my delivery in the daytime: and it turns up on the doorstep on time. Love it. Strongly recommended. The dhansak is perfect and the bhajias crispy. Ordered by phone last week from workplace and asked for food in 10 minutes for collection and they managed to have it ready despite being busy.
I have lived in Watford for three years and Mint is one of my favourite things about living here the food is that good. My friends who have come to visit agree. If you love Indian food, you’ll love Mint. Just yum!
We used to really enjoy a takeaway from Mint, but will not be using them again. The last meal for 2 was nearly £30 and was not that good. Also came out the house the next day to find the receipt crumpled up and left in our flowerpot.
One hour to 85 mins for delivery on the website but when we call 90 mins later we're told it could take 2 1/2 to 3 hours?! Nobody is that busy. They weren't even sorry. Ridiculous. They've lost a lot of regular customers from this hopefully they'll sort their act out.
