Thought I'd get something different to my usual and got Udon ($11.50). It was great! Noodles were great texture, the tempura prawns were huge and crispy and they even gave you the flavour sauce and chilli powder separately so you can add to your taste. The smallest touch of keeping the tempura separate to the soup to stop it getting soggy and putting wrap over the bowl to keep the warmth in was lovely service. Quite a bit of fresh sushi on offer as well as rice bowls (e.g. katsu curry) for $7.50.
Toku Sushi is a delightful little blink-and-you'll-miss-it surprise to be found in West Perth at the end of Hay Street before it crosses over the freeway.
My sister brought me here and I just love it. I only have the chicken caraage meal for and it is probably the best and the largest portion of karaage I had in perth. my sister, on the other hand, swears at her Japanese curry, so I'm sure it's also good. they have a series of options from sushis to bengos and I would like to come back and try some more.
Pretty good quality for the price, chicken katsu, katsu curry, rolled sushi, and they even have brown rice options. beautiful and clean, and fast service for lunch and take them away, but could sometimes be packed.
Beautiful tiny and cozy place in the middle of a busy road that decent worth money-taking meals. I had the chicken katsu curry and spicy tuna roll that meets the point. I'm back.
