Comida Catering Co. is a perfect showcase for the Adelaide Central Market, serving freshly made tapas and paella from quality ingredients at street food prices. This time we shared chicken and almond empanadillas, fried Kingfish balls, potato bravas and potato and onion tortilla. All were delicious and wouldn't be out of place in a top restaurant. Only a few weeks ago the tapas menu was different, so visit often! Next time we are ordering the anchovies.
I would have taken a photo of the paella but it was gone in about three spoonsfull because that's all it was. Great food, just not enough of it! Servings are waaay to small for $16.50. I wasn't expecting an entire paellera but wasn't expecting just a few spoonsfull either. If you're hungry, you're gonna need more than one serve!
One of the best eateries at the central market. Super busy when it hits lunch time - everyone will be there for their paella. The chef will cook the paella at 12pm and paella will be ready at 1245pm. Recommend to get there by 1215 and order the paella straightaway as it has limited servings only. While waiting for the paella, you can indulge in some lovely entree dishes. Paella is also served at 6pm on Friday and Saturday evening. Services - friendly staffs. Fast service for food and beverages. Food - love the tiny goat cheese croquets with KI honey, crispy crunch with well flavoured fillings. Surprisingly the honey went along well with this croquets. Paella has to be the highlight of this cafe. Freshly cook paella in front of us with beautiful fresh ingredients, chicken, chorizo and mussels with snow peas. One word : yummy! Delicious! Fresh! (Ooops three words there). Try it for yourself. Drinks - beautiful strong coffee. Nice aroma with perfect roasted coffee. Few selections of wines on menu to go with the Spanish menu. Thoroughly enjoy my lunch, definitely will be back again for the paella and perhaps some other side dishes. Recommended to pop by, you can even do take a away if there's still any left.
