Avaliação da contribuiçãoOverall, the dining experience had its ups and downs. The food was disappointing, earning just 2 out of 5 stars. However, the service was exceptional, receiving a perfect score of 5 stars. The atmosphere was quite pleasant as well, rated at 4 stars. If you're planning to visit, I would recommend trying the Fish and Chips.
Fantastic service, delicious food, and great music! There’s a lively crowd! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
I had a fantastic birthday dinner at this restaurant! We drove all the way from Louisiana because our exchange student is from Scotland, and we wanted to treat her to some authentic Scottish cuisine. The steak pie was exceptional, with rich gravy and beautifully flaky puff pastry that was both delightful and tasty. The cocktails were enjoyable, though one of the cucumber drinks had an odd salmon flavor that I didn't care for. The giant pretzel was tasty but a bit too tough; I would have preferred it to be softer. The sticky toffee pudding was a highlight, and we absolutely loved the thoughtful addition of a candle and a birthday message on the plate. The live music was the perfect touch, with a talented band and just the right volume. The Scottish decor added to the charm of the place as well! Overall, I would say the price per person is around $30–50. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dish: Steak Pie.
Absolutely loved my dining experience at this establishment! One delightful touch that caught my eye was the humorous Beware of Attack Chef sign in the kitchen, setting a playful and welcoming tone. The food exceeded my expectations; it was nothing short of exceptional. But what truly made the evening memorable was the live band, whose performance added a fantastic rhythm to the atmosphere. Now, let 's talk about the star of the show the fish and chips. They were nothing short of perfection. The crispy, golden batter encased the flaky, tender fish inside, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that left me craving for more. The chips were equally impressive, with just the right amount of seasoning. It 's safe to say that this dish is an absolute must try here. The combination of delicious food, a lively ambiance, and the delightful kitchen sign made for an unforgettable dining experience. I can 't wait to return for more delectable bites and live music. Highly recommended! Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and there was a lot of options beside the desert menu. Kid friendliness: My kid love this place! There’s a parked train outside the restaurant in the park! Wheelchair accessibility: Very spacious and you can use wheelchair in this place. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Steak Pie, Fish Chips, Pretzel
We had a reservation for 6 and were seated at a booth/table that seated 4 with an additional 2-top on the end. The 2-top was completely broken with a stack of about 8 coasters under a table leg. 4-top was also broken though not so completely. A gentleman then argued with my husband when he politely asked if we could be seated at an empty round table for 6 saying that this table was already reserved for a party of 6. About 15 minutes later they sat a party of 4 at that exact table. The food was just ok. We had the pretzel which was good, but the cheese sauce was strange and it came with a honey mustard instead of a stone ground mustard as indicated on the menu. I ordered the barbecue mac-n-cheese. It was pretty bland and the meat had a lot of fat in it with a lot of grease. My husband thought the meat pie was ok. The service by our waitress was very good. We have no plans to return. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
