Portside - Oamaru

Wow!! What a dinner!! The food was amazing! We had the seafood chowder, blue cod and bacon and my favourite.. the best Polenta chips ever. I would recommend Portside to anyone living or visiting Oamaru.

Portside has the perfect setting right beside the sea with a menu for everyone, sophisticated and smart we dine there nearly every week! The best part for us as parents is the tables down by the beach with a sandpit the kids can have fun while we relax. Food outstanding, service impeccable. Love.

Tried the new menu tonight. Was absolutely amazing...compliments to the chef and the staff were awesome

Outstanding service, waitress was lovely even gave us some local tips and some of her knowledge on fishing in the area. We only had a small meal as we weren't staying long but the seafood chowder was absolutely lovely. Would defiantly return just to taste it again.

Great food. One of the best Seafood Chowder I have had. Would recommend this restaurant.
